Founded in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Loudon County Education Foundation is dedicated to our mission:

Investing in education in Loudon County by enriching lifelong learning, encouraging professional development and emphasizing business and community participation in education.

The Board and staff work to ensure the success of this mission by providing a range of meaningful learning opportunities to residents of all ages. 

With a 25-member board of  directors that meet monthly, the Foundation has support from Superintendents from both the county and city schools as well as professionals from all levels of  business, industry  and community leaders who provide a unique perspective in  the operation of the Foundation.
