Adult Community Training (ACT) is a nonprofit business incorporated in 1975. The business is designed to assist persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to be productive citizens in their community. ACT encourages, promotes and assist person with IDD in finding employment, interacting in their community and for some finding a home. Funding in providing services comes from the Tennessee Department Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, TennCare and various donors. ACT is Nationally Accredited by CQL.
