Applicants need Social Security Number • Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen) • 2023-2024: 2021 Federal income tax returns, 2021 W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT).) • 2024-2025: 2022 Federal income tax returns, 2022 W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS FUTURE Act Direct Data Exchange (FA-DDX).) •
Also: Make sure you or you and your parents have created an FSA ID. Please do this before the session. •An FSA ID is imperative for you and your parents/guardians to have access to the FAFSA. A FAFSA cannot be completed and submitted without one. You will only have to create your FSA ID once, as the same one will be used for future FAFSA completion.
