Bridges Out of Poverty is a program designed to help communities recognize the economic, cultural, and societal hurdles that low-income families face as they seek to provide for their families. The program creates awareness of the unique and sometimes hidden obstacles that they face. It will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the challenges and strengths of these families, and show how the whole community can work together to create opportunities that will help low-income families succeed. Our Speaker, Trina Brown Hyman, comes to us from Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis, and has presented this program numerous times to a variety of audiences. She will provide an eye-opening program that you won’t want to miss.
