2027 Polar Plunge

Description

Come take part in the annual East Tennessee Polar Plunge at the Poplar Springs Boat Ramp in Tellico Village!

Join other courageous folks and jump into the chilly waters at

11:00AM -1:00PM on New Year's Day, January 1, 2027.

Not only will it be for a good cause, but it's a great way

for the entire family to start off 2027!

Things You Should Know

• Life jackets and vests are required for children 12 years of age and younger.  You will not be able to participate in the plunge if you do not have the proper safety flotation device.

• We recommend that you wear water shoes or sandals.  The plunge area is rocky in some places. Having a good pair of water shoes will help keep your paws from being injured.

• Make sure to bring warm blankets, towels, and a change of clothes.  There will be areas available for changing.
