Description

On Sunday, August 3rd, at 1:00 PM, the Loudon County Health Department, in collaboration with align9, the Faith-based Community, and the Tobacco Alliance of Loudon County, invites you to gather at Lenoir City Park, Shelter 1, located at 6707 City Park Drive, Lenoir City, Tennessee for a Red Sands Project Event. Materials will be supplied, encompassing music, resources, refreshments, and a keynote speaker. Guest Speaker: Laurie Swink Laurie Swink is a former educator turned fierce advocate in the fight against sex trafficking. She’s the Co-Founder of Selah Freedom, a national organization that has helped over 7,000 survivors since 2011. Through safe homes, trauma therapy, and life-changing programs, Selah Freedom helps survivors reclaim their stories and their futures. Laurie’s impact has been recognized with national honors, including the Bay News 9’s Everyday Hero Award, Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero Award, and the 2025 Heroes Among Us Congressional Award. Her passion is bold, her vision is unwavering—freedom for every survivor.
