Lenoir City Committee of 100 - September Meeting

Description

We will have two guest speakers this month and forgo community updates to give both time to present. Our first guest will be sheriff, Jimmy Davis, who will be sharing positives and negatives about flock cameras. 

Our 2nd guest speaker will present Smart Growth Lenoir City, the city’s comprehensive plan update. This community-driven plan establishes a shared vision and practical strategies to guide future growth, public investment, and community priorities. The presentation will provide an overview of the planning process, highlight key work completed to date, and offer a first look at the draft Future Land Use Map, which identifies areas best suited for future growth and areas where preservation should remain a priority. Attendees will also learn how to stay engaged in the planning process and help champion the community’s vision for Lenoir City’s future.

Our lunch is being catered by the culinary arts classes and LC and Loudon High Schools for the Good Samaritan Center fund raiser.
